1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Maple Leaf English Academy ("Company," "we," "our," or "us") regarding your use of our website located at shelkovistaya-prostokvasha.com and our educational services.

3. User Accounts and Registration

3.1 Account Creation

4. Course Enrollment and Payment Terms

4.1 Course Registration

  • Course enrollment is subject to availability
  • We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule courses
  • Minimum enrollment numbers may be required for group classes

4.2 Payment Terms

  • Payment is due in full before course commencement unless otherwise agreed
  • All prices are in Canadian Dollars (CAD) unless specified otherwise
  • Prices are subject to change with 30 days' notice
  • Payment processing is handled by secure third-party providers
  • We do not store credit card information on our servers

4.3 Refund Policy

Full Refund: Available within 48 hours of enrollment for any reason

Partial Refund: Available within the first week of course start:

  • 80% refund if withdrawn within 3 days of course start
  • 60% refund if withdrawn within 7 days of course start
  • No refund after 7 days from course commencement

Medical/Emergency Exceptions: Special considerations for documented medical emergencies or exceptional circumstances

5. User Conduct and Responsibilities

5.1 Acceptable Use

Users agree to:

  • Attend scheduled classes punctually
  • Participate respectfully in class discussions
  • Complete assignments and homework as required
  • Respect other students and instructors
  • Use appropriate language and behavior
  • Follow technical requirements and guidelines

5.2 Prohibited Activities

Users may not:

  • Record, screenshot, or share class content without permission
  • Disrupt classes or interfere with other students' learning
  • Share account credentials with others
  • Use our services for commercial purposes without authorization
  • Attempt to hack, compromise, or gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Post or share inappropriate, offensive, or illegal content
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations

6. Intellectual Property Rights

6.3 User-Generated Content

By submitting assignments, participating in discussions, or providing feedback, you grant us a non-exclusive license to use your content for educational and improvement purposes.

8. Technology Requirements and Support

8.1 Technical Requirements

To participate in our online classes, you need:

  • Stable internet connection (minimum 5 Mbps recommended)
  • Computer, tablet, or smartphone with camera and microphone
  • Updated web browser or required software
  • Quiet environment suitable for learning

8.2 Technical Support

  • We provide basic technical support for our platform
  • Students are responsible for their own internet connectivity and devices
  • We recommend testing your setup before first class
  • Alternative access methods may be provided for technical difficulties

9. Course Completion and Certificates

9.1 Completion Requirements

  • Attend at least 80% of scheduled classes
  • Complete all required assignments and assessments
  • Participate actively in class activities
  • Meet the minimum performance standards for your course level

9.2 Certificates

  • Certificates of completion are awarded to students who meet all requirements
  • Certificates are digital and may be downloaded from your student portal
  • We do not guarantee acceptance of our certificates by third parties
  • Certificate replacement fees may apply for additional copies

10. Instructor Policies

10.1 Instructor Qualifications

All our instructors are certified English language teachers with relevant qualifications and experience in online education.

10.2 Instructor Changes

We reserve the right to change instructors due to availability, scheduling conflicts, or other operational requirements. We will provide reasonable notice when possible.

10.3 Student-Instructor Interaction

  • All communications should remain professional
  • Personal contact information should not be exchanged
  • Any concerns about instructors should be reported to our administration

11. Disclaimers and Limitations

11.1 Educational Results

While we strive to provide high-quality education, we cannot guarantee specific learning outcomes or proficiency improvements. Success depends on various factors including student effort, participation, and individual learning capabilities.

11.2 Service Availability

We aim to provide uninterrupted service but cannot guarantee 100% uptime. Services may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, technical issues, or circumstances beyond our control.

We may use third-party platforms or services to deliver our courses. We are not responsible for the performance or policies of these third-party services.

12. Limitation of Liability
